REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING NATIONAL IDENTITY CARD

• Four (4) pictures, size must be 35 x 45 mm (See Photo specifications below)
• Copy of parents Eritrean ID card
• Family certificate (Familje personbevis)
• Copy of applicant's Passport
• Eyeglasses should worn if prescribed by a doctor
• No sunglasses or hats (head garbs worn for religious purposes are allowed)

APPLYING FOR REPLACEMENT OF LOST/DAMAGED ID

• All the above requirements must be completed· for replacing lost or damaged ID

REQUIREMENT FOR TEMPORARY ERITREAN ID CARD - (ONLY FOR AGES OF 18 -25)

• Application for temporary Eritrean ID card
• Age between 18 and 25
• Copy of applicant's passport
• Four (4) pictures, size must be 30 x 30 mm (See Photo specifications below)
• Copy of parents Eritrean ID card

PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS

• Photo must be recent (within one month)
• Full face view directly facing the camera (both ears must show)
• Background should be plain white
• Coloured
